to receive achievement award for tax refund and medical tourism
Last September in 2016, an achievement
award ceremony was held with the appointment of new cooperative institutions
for medical tourism in Gangnam-gu.
Only ID Hospital received two awards on
that day as to best practice tax refund and medical tourism.
Tax return system is to pay back 10 percent
of additional tax to foreign patients who used medical service in Korea so that
they would know the cost of their received service. The fact that ID Hospital
is selected as the best practicing tax refund medical institution means that it
has the most amount of tax repaid. In other words, it attracted the most number
of foreign patients out of all plastic surgery hospitals in Gangnam-gu.
Along with this, ID Hospital was recognized
as the best medical institution for medical tourism as it provided excellent
care to foreign patients who came to Korea for high quality medical service, making
Korea’s advanced medical technology known to countries overseas.
As a hospital-level medical institution, ID
Hospital has met the standards and criteria set by medical laws in the building
with the most advanced technology, and the patients’ safety is its first
priority. Considering this, this award is all the more meaningful.
