Reviews of jaw surgery with before and after photos

Eun Ae Ko underwent double jaw surgery (= orthognathic surgery) 8 months ago at ID Plastic Surgery Hospital in Korea and left reviews with before and after photos.

Hello,

It’s been 8 months after I underwent double jaw surgery.

Soon, it will be one year!

3 months after double jaw surgery, no pain or discomfort. And the swelling has reduced quite fast.

Took photos of my teeth during orthodontic treatment. The medial axes were in the same line right after the surgery, but they are deviated a little as teeth move. Actually, the photo above is taken at the sixth month mark after the surgery. Now, the medial axes of the upper and lower teeth have been moved back in the same line. My teeth are so regular now.

After my jaw has been perfectly settled down, I had eyes and nose done at the sixth month after the jaw surgery, and I finished off my look with nose surgery. Before rhinoplasty, my face looked so flat, but it became dimensional.

The two photos above were when I only had corrective jaw surgery. After the orthognathic surgery, I had no difficulty in speaking nor discomfort, but chewing was uncomfortable due to bracing. Food debris got stuck in the appliance, and my teeth hurt due to the treatment.

When I touched my chin area after swelling subsided, I was able to feel the pins!! But I won’t go for pin removal surgery. I don’t want to have another surgery any more. They aren’t visible and I’m also reminded of the pins when I touch them only, so I think it’s a not a big deal.

These are before and after photos taken last month. Isn’t it so obvious that my chin has been retreated and shortened? My chin was very long and protruded. Thank you so much Dr. Seok Jae Lee for giving me a new life.

My friends who I haven’t seen for a while didn’t recognize who I was. I used to be picked on without any reason due to my chin and I bent my head all the time, but now I’m so confident and happy because many people tell me that I’m pretty.

‘Let Me In 4’ Dan Bee Yoon's total makeover at the best plastic surgery hospital!!

‘Let Me In 4’ Dan Bee Yoon, a former marathoner, got over her stranded dream and became the hottest girl

Another ‘Let Me In Beauty” was born on July 3rd.

The theme of the episode was “Smileless Daughter,” and Dan Bee Yoon, an inexpressive hair dresser, was chosen as the fifth Let Me In Beauty of the season 4.

Ms. Yoon had bottomless inferiority on her severe mandibular prognathism (protruding chin). Ms. Yoon’s the only joy and hope was to be a marathoner, but her dream was broken and she had to give up her dream compulsively. After that, Ms. Yoon started an internship as a hairdresser. From her customers, she was heard a lot of complaints like, “You look angry. Are you upset because you don’t want to do my hair?” or “I don’t understand what you’re saying (because of malocclusion).” Ms. Yoon’s face became harder and harder as others talked to her in that way.

Let Me In doctors thoroughly reviewed Ms. Yoon’s condition. The doctors thought that Ms. Yoon needed a prompt improvement on the masticatory function which had been deteriorated by lose of teeth and malocclusion, so they chose her as the 5th Let Me In Beauty.

Dr. Sang Hoon Park who performed plastic surgeries on Ms. Yoon told that “Ms. Yoon’s temporomandibular joints had been worn out due to severe malocclusion and she lost many teeth. Orthognathic surgery and orthodontic treatment were desperately required for Ms. Yoon beyond the purpose of an improvement on the aesthetic point of her. So, double jaw surgery as well as brace treatment have been applied.

Ms. Yoon had a total makeover and stored confidence. She said that she wanted to be a hairstylist like Tae Yang, a hairstylist of Let Me In Season 4. Also, she met her mother after a while, and the scene touched the audience.
