When people who were not that interested in
plastic surgery see the changed look of their friends, they start to look into
‘plastic surgery for the middle-aged’. It is now accepted as ‘choice’ to live a
proactive life rather than ‘luxury’. The biggest concerns of middle-aged group
are saggy face (nasolabial folds), wrinkles around eye rim, and sunken facial

Non-incisional SMAS lifting is a procedure that inserts an
elastic band under the skin to lift SMAS layer and is effective for a saggy
face and deep wrinkles. Since its recovery time is shorter than facelift and
has a more effective result than thread lifting, many middle-aged people who
expect lifting effect in a short period of time prefer this surgery. Long lasting
effect is one of the advantages of non-incisional SMAS lifting. Moreover, the
band is made of material soft like subcutaneous tissue, so there’s hardly any
pain after the surgery. Since the component is similar to body tissue, you can make
natural facial expression, which is another advantage.
Non-incisional SMAS
lifting is effective for fixing saggy cheeks, nasolabial folds, double chin,
sunken cheeks, and stretched neck line. When your eyelids start to droop due to
aging, you experience various functional or aesthetical problems. Droopy
eyelids cover the eyes, narrowing the visual range or poking the eyes with
eyelashes, and you start to use forehead muscle for opening your eyes since you
cannot completely lift your eyelids, which causes deeper forehead wrinkles. If

blepharoplasty, and lower blepharoplasty. Eyebrow lift makes an incision above

Different from upper
blepharoplasty, it’s operated when you don’t want to change the line of your
double eyelid or don’t want to make double eyelid at all. It pulls your sagged
eyelids, so you look younger and more gentle. Upper blepharoplasty is operated
when the eyelid is sagged. Droopy tissues are precisely measured to be cut off,
and remaking the stretched line of your double eyelid is important. Compared to
this, lower blepharoplasty is to remove fats and wrinkles under eyes. You can
get softer look and fix light wrinkles as well as dark circles at the same
time. Sunken face without volume and light wrinkles make you look tired all the
time or older than your age. Dr. Park said “collagen cells and elastin cells in
the skin regenerate slower as you age, and that’s why your overall facial
volume dies and wrinkles increase.” Filler is effective for forehead and front
cheek where it’s easy to lose volume, and injecting botox around forehead, eye
rim, and nasolabial folds with wrinkles can add more volume and make your face
look lively.
