[Real Review] How I corrected my facial asymmetry! Check out my progress!

"I looked like a man - a very ugly man... but I'm just a young girl..."

It’s been 3 months after double jaw surgery!

I had suffered from facial asymmetry prior to the surgery. After the surgery, however, I’ve been stressed out by post-surgery care. Most of the numbness is gone now and a lot of sensation came back at this point! There was a weird throbbing feeling near the cheekbone area at first, but it's gone now. When the braces were first applied, the pain was gone within a day, but I went to the dentist 4 days ago, and I guess I still have some pain...

I strongly sympathize with the words; time is medicine for corrective jaw surgery.

After the surgery, I bothered my consultant a lot since I was so nervous, and I read all the reviews about others who had underwent two-jaw surgery or jaw surgery. Oh! I still have the weird stretching feeling around my eyes when I wake up. So, I do mouth exercises after I wake up and I feel much better :D

I’m taking oriental medicine because my weight dropped by 40kg a month ago. I didn’t expect I could take oriental medicine, but the medical staff said I could, so I took it right away. I can lie down when I sleep now! Even on one side~! But I’m still using two thick pillows. It’s more comfortable~

E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E around me told that I made a very good choice and I looked so, so, so much better after the surgery. Due to facial asymmetry, my jaw was weird in every angle. I looked like a man - a very ugly man... but I'm just a young girl... Now, I’m so satisfied with my profile. People who don’t know I had surgery think my face looks different because of braces alone lol. I love that they don’t know until I tell them.

Before the surgery, I hid my face whenever I made eye contact with others on the street, but I don’t avoid eye contact anymore!! I’m also surprised and can’t believe that I restored my confidence this much by correcting jaw only..

If there is anyone who is considering orthognathic surgery, please contemplate whether you actually need double jaw surgery, check out hospitals precisely, and think about how you are going to take care of yourself after the surgery.

Two-jaw surgery is not the end,
but the beginning of the story!

Good luck to everyone who underwent orthognathic surgery~!!!
