Plastic surgery for men
Mr. Jin Bae Park was chosen as Let Me In
for Man of the season 3. Plastic surgeries, including orthognathic surgery,
were successfully performed on Mr. Park. Mr. Park was given a total makeover.
Mr. Park suffered from gynecomastia and
sagging abdomen after excess weight loss. Mr. Park, ‘a man with breasts,’
experienced sociophobia because of physical complexes and little confidence due
to his appearance. Could he get over the complexes?
Mr. Park had protruding mouth (bimaxillary
prognathism) and severely receding chin (mandibular retrognathism), so his
facial impression was blurry. Because of the severity of his retreated chin,
double jaw surgery was not enough. Three-jaw surgery was required! Also, ptosis
correction surgery was suggested to improve his sleepy and droopy eyes to be
refreshing and manly.
Let’s me explain three-jaw surgery that Mr.
Park underwent. Molar teeth behind canines were extracted and frontal, upper
and lower periodontal bones were severed and repositioned backward – this is a
surgical method for mouth protrusion, which is called anterior segmental
osteotomy (ASO). With ASO, double jaw surgery was performed at the same time.
This three-jaw surgery required advanced technique. In conclusion, those who
have severe receding chins with protruding mouth need to have three-jaw surgery
to improve their looks.
In addition to three-jaw surgery, Mr. Park
underwent cheekbone reduction surgery. The surgery reduced the lateral
cheekbones while augmented frontal cheekbones, resulting in a young-looking
appearance.
Also, his nose was small, low, and flat.
Rhinoplasty was performed to augment the nasal dorsum and to reduce the size of
nostrils (alar reduction nose surgery). His new nose looks sophisticated and is
in good balance with his new face.
His forehead was dented and flat, so his
own was harvested and implanted on his forehead. This procedure, autologous fat
grafting on the forehead, naturally improved his appearance to be chic.
Through full-incisional double eyelid surgery,
his small eyes became big and defined. Ptosis correction surgery lifted his
sagging eyelids and made his eyes refreshing and natural.
Overall, all the plastic surgeries improved
Mr. Park’s asymmetric face, protruding mouth, receding chin, sleepy look and
gave him an urbane look~!
