Xiomary's Plastic surgery experience at ID Hospital Korea

Xiomary, 21, from Puerto Rico was one of the winners of the ID Model 2019 contest.

She came to get plastic surgery at ID Hospital in Korea.

She had facial contouring surgeries and her surgery results look amazing at 10 days post-surgery!

I was always concerned about wide, big, and uneven facial line.

When I told the doctor that I would like to get a slim and voluminous face at the consultation, he recommended me v line surgery and cheekbone reduction.

He also said that if I undergo face lifting and fat graft along with a facial contouring surgery, my look would be much better so I decided to undergo all the surgeries he recommended for me.

Right after surgery

I couldn't drink water and my throat hurt for 6 hours after surgery. That time was the most painful. 

But, the staffs at ID Hospital, including nurses and doctor put me at ease by repetitive checking my condition and told me that everything was fine so I did not have to worry about anything.

A translator was very kind as well so I thought I made a good decision to do surgery at ID :)

Post-op 2 week

It's been 2 weeks since I had the surgery.

Swellings got better than the 1st week after surgery and the bruises are almost subsided.

All the stitches inside of mouth was removed so that I have no problem with my daily life.

Post-op 1 month

This is post-op 1 month photos.

The major swelling is almost gone now so I do not have to wear a mask when I go out.

I don't even remember how my look used to be before the surgery haha

Post-op 3 months

 It's the 3rd month after surgery~!

I hardly see swellings on my face.

My face became slimmer and voluminous. I think it is because I had facial contouring surgery and fat graft together?!

For a few days after surgery, I was worried about the result because of swellings but as time went by, I could see my facial line has dramatically changed. 

Recently, I've been told that I became beautiful by people around me heehee

6 months after surgery follow-up

Hello~ 

It's been 6 months since I had a two-jaw surgery^^

It usually takes 6 months until the bones are knitted. 

When I saw the x-ray on the 5th week post-op, the bones were not fully knitted yet.

Doctor showed and explained me about the x-ray right after the surgery by comparing before and after surgery.

He also told me that my bones had been knitting together well, so I did not have to worry about it :)

I have been used to my new look!

I think all the minor swellings were subsided already :)

 Before surgery

I used to have a long and protruded chin so my whole face was long T_T

I had a masculine look, headache (I guess it might be caused by my jaw problem), and also difficulty of chewing; my jaw made a sound when I chewed.

I was de-socialized at that times. 

After two-jaw surgery,

everything has been improved!

6 months after surgery

Nobody recognized that I had the surgery; they just thought that I had braces.

Since my facial line has been smoother than before, my impression also has been soft.

There is no side effect or complication after surgery. 

Senses are almost returned but only a 60% of senses of chin and palatine areas are back.

  I've been told that all the senses would be returned within a few months. 

Other than that, saggy cheeks or double chin phenomenon is not occurred.

There is no problem apparently but I feel tight on the incision area. I think the incision was made inside of the mouth and as the wound has been healed, it makes me feel tightened.

My doctor said that I would be used to this feeling and I should be used to it.

Well, I actually have been used to this feeling but I do not feel comfortable with palatine area because whenever I eat something, it's not easy to feel the food. 

I think I have to be patient until all the senses are back :)

I've become so confident after the surgery so I started to love meeting people >_<

But the thing is that it is hard to make a big smile because of the braces.

My dentist said it would be taking a pretty long time to remove the braces out.

My teeth have been aligned by braces but the center line is still uneven so I guess it will take some time to see the final result. 

I always wear the braces so I easily get the canker in the mouth.

But I will be so happy when I see the aligned teeth >_<

My face became much smaller now!!

Whenever I write a review, I always think that I've done the right thing! 

Although, there are some discomforts and disadvantages caused after the surgery but you can get your confidence back and also a beautifully changed appearance.

Most of all, my health problems which are caused by chin and jaw have been gone so everything is perfect now! 

I'm so proud of myself that I've gone through all of this hardship haha

I hope my review is helpful to the people who are considered of having a two-jaw surgery :)
