Ultherapy for Brides of Spring 2018!

In spring, where wedding ceremonies are held the most, brides make various efforts to be more beautiful to show off, especially the skin. And having a youthful skin is also a trend.

As the age of people getting married raises, people try hard to find their youthful skin back for the special days. And accordingly, the ‘Ultherapy Treatment’ became so popular to talk about in our daily lives.
Dr. Min Joo Kim, dermatologist of ID Hospital said “The number of patients who wish to have more youthful and tightened skin have increased and many of them also want to make their skin clear. Since the ultherapy treatment makes such an amazing result with only one treatment, many people prefer to receive the treatment.”

Ultherapy is a non-surgical lifting laser procedure that treats the skin which has lost its elasticity, using high heat generated by collecting high intensity ultrasound energy. ID’s ‘Ulthera Quatro’ is an upgraded version of the original Ultherapy. It reaches the deepest part of facial tissue and regenerates collagen and elastin; and the effect lasts for a long time.

“It takes about a month to see the result of Ultherapy but you’ll only need two weeks to see the result of Ulthera Quatro. And because it’s a non-incisional procedure, you don’t have to worry about the scars. The procedure is usually done within 30 minutes”, said Dr. Kim.

The effect of Ultherapy lasts for about 1 ~ 2 years and to maintain the effect, Ulthera Quatro Boosting program is performed at ID Dermatology.
Dr. Kim said, “It’s important to find an experienced doctor and receive the right amount of shots with genuine Ultherapy tips, as there are many other clinics that use fake tips.”

Christmas in South Korea!

Christmas in SOUTH KOREA!

There are more Christians in South Korea (the Republic of Korea) than in other asian countries such as China and Japan, so Christmas is celebrated more widely. (Christians make up about 25-30% of the population.) However, the other 70% of people in South Korea are Buddhist (about 25%) or don't have a religion.

Unlike Japan, Christmas is an official public holiday - so people have the day off work and school! But they go back on the 26th (Boxing Day). There's a longer official winter break in the New Year.

Churches are decorated with lights and many have a bright red neon cross on top (all the year!) so that goes very well with the Christmas lights! Most churches will have a service on Christmas day. Going to Church for Christmas is becoming more popular, even among non Christians.

Department stores put on big displays of decorations. There's also an amazing display of lights in the capital city, Seoul. The lights are all over the city centre including the bridges over the Han River.

Some people (especially Christians and westerns who live in South Korea) will have decorations at home including a Christmas tree.

Presents are exchanged and a popular present is money! Giving actually gifts has become more popular, but giving money is still very common.

Santa Claus can also be seen around Korea but he might be wearing red or blue! He's also known as 산타 클로스 (santa kullosu) or 산타 할아버지 (Santa Grandfather).

A popular Christmas food is a Christmas Cake, but it's often a sponge cake covered in cream brought from a local bakery! Or you might even have an ice cream cake from a shop like 'Baskin Robbins'!

Happy/Merry Christmas in Korean is 'Meri krismas' (메리 크리스마스) or 'Jeulgaeun krismas doeseyo' (즐거운 크리스마스 되세요). Christians can say 'Sungtan chukhahaeyo' (성탄 축하해요) to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Happy/Merry Christmas in lots more languages.

If you live in North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) Christmas will be very different. Being a Christian is 'officially' allowed but you can go to prison, or even be killed for being a Christian or even having a Bible. Christians in North Korea have to meet in secret and any celebrations of Christmas will also be held in secret.

Merry Chistmas!

How to fake flawless skin during the winter! BB cream / CC cream? Easy DIY at home!

BB Cream, CC Cream, foundation!
What's the difference?

Throughout the year, make-up needs to change just as our wardrobe need change. Winter is a notoriously hard time of the year for your face. Using the correct foundation, BB, or tinted moisturizer should be taken seriously because with the right tools, it can keep your face looking fresh and natural through the coldest winter months.

During the winter, your skin tone can be quite different than it was during the summer months. In order to keep your face looking natural, always choose a foundation that closely matches your skin tone throughout the year. In winter, our skin tone tends to be at its palest.

Moisturizers are the most essential part of make-up routine during the winter months. Keeping your skin h-y-d-r-a-t-e-d will prevent your skin from drying or flaking. Ideally, your moisturizer or foundation should include sunscreen, especially during the winter when the sun is quite harsh.

BB cream : BB cream, also known as blemish balms, was first introduced to the market by asian countries. If you are prone to breakouts, want light coverage but have a lot of redness or discoloration. BB cream is generally light, clog-free, and great at preventing troubled skin that shows either signs of aging or acne. One of the key elements of BB is probably the how it helps to reflect the light for a more natural-looking radiance.

CC cream : CC cream is marketed to have more coverage than BB cream, but that's not always the case. CC creams are a bit more concentrated with SPF so your skin stays protected from the harsh suns rays all while giving you the bit of coverage you need. CC cream is also ideal for those who have dry skin.

foundation : If full coverage is your aim, then foundation is probably the go-to for you. It doesn't have the same skin-care benefiting properties as a BB or CC cream, but it will offer you the most coverage.

Breakdown:

1. Be careful of the winter. It's when your skin is the driest and looks the most palest.
2. Make sure to hydrate your skin with great moisturizing creams throughout the winter in order to ensure the smoothest, dewiest base. Get those face masks stocked up, ladies!
3. Choose the right coverage make-up that best suits your skins needs:  BB, CC, Foundation (there's also DD and ZZ creams too... so many!)

4. Bonus! Air cushions and facial finishing mist sprays are always a bonus to lock in that extra needed moisture.
