Thai people who
felt compromised by their physical appearance were flown to South Korea to take
part of a popular surgery make over show, “Let Me In Thailand”. They all made
decisions to go under several cosmetic surgeries for their life change. Since
the season is over now, we are now ready to reveal their stories and results!
1. Waleerat
('Incisional' eyelid surgery, medial epicanthoplasty, cheekbone reduction, rhinoplasty, orhognathic surgery, v-line surgery, dermatology and dental after surgery care)
Surgery means more than just beauty to Waleerat, who suffered from a cleft lip and palate. Her condition made it difficult to speak and was always an obstacle in her bids to gain employment.

1) 'Incisional' eyelid surgery

It is difficult to get a natural look with incisional eyelid surgery compared to non-incisional eyelid surgery, but if the patient's skin is thin the scars are not very noticeable because they are in line with the crease. If the patient's eyelid region is heavily stretched, making non-incisional eyelid surgery impossible or ptosis is accompanied, or the shape of the crease must be completely changed by re-surgery, then incisional eyelid surgery is performed to correct the eye line.
2) Medial Epicanthoplasty
The skin folds in the upper eyelid are known as Mongolian folds.
These cover the lacrimal lake in the corner of the eye. Mongolian folds vary in kinds so an appropriate method must be performed.
The lower eyelid incision must be designed at is smallest and the amount of skin removed must be minimized.
Depending on the shape of the inner corner of the eye, an incision line is modified and minimized.
By doing so, scars are not noticeable and are well hidden under the eyelid, making the procedure so called the 'magic medial epicanthoplasty'.
The procedure eliminates the wrinkles in the lower part of the eyes and enhances the overall look of the eyes by considering the lateral axis and slope of the lower region.
3) Cheekbone Reduction
Recommended to following people:
-face is flat and wide. middle of the face is especially wide
-face gives rough impression
-when looking at in front, protruding cheekbone makes the face look uneven
-only the cheekbone is seen when looking at from 45 degree of the side
-under the cheekbone looks dented and shaded
Surgical procedures:
1. general anesthesia is carried out
2. intraoral incision is made and the cheekbone is excised to shift its position
3. excision of the zygomatic arch is performed through preauricular stab incision and the cheekbone is moved
4. amount of inward shift of the protruding cheekbone is decided prior to the surgery and the cheekbone is moved
5. moved bone is fixed
6. surgery is completed within one hour
4) Rhinoplasty
transforms you to be confident, beautiful and cute just like a Barbie doll.
surgical steps:
1. after analyzing protrusion of your forehead and lips, individualized implants will be designed that fits shape of your nose before the surgery using a 3D scanner and Cad
2. Analyzing the width of alar and columella, create natural Barbie doll like nose tip and ideal bridge that you want using double cartilage (cargilage of ear and nasal septum)
3. after your rhinoplasty is completed you will be able to go home, you do not need to stay overnight at the clinic

Fat graft process
1. After a careful consultation, the area of interest will be examined and determine whether the transfer is possible
2. After sleeping local anesthetic, the area to extract fat is sterilized and the fat is pulled out from the thigh or abdomen using a thin catheter. Abundant amount of fat is extracted and stored to fill in once or twice
3. The isolated fat tissue will be subjected to centrifugation and only the pure fat tissue will be separated and used
4. Various sizes of vessels will be used to transfer the precise amount of centrifuged fat into the area of interests to correct the facial structure
5. After the fat graft, the remaining will be stored for further use
6. The recovery rate will vary among patients. However, it is recommended that the patients should avoid any type of contacts that may provide pressure to the areas that are swollen and have bruises for the first two weeks

How is 'Facial Fat Graft' done?
Facial Fat Graft
: Any areas with excessive fat tissue, such as thigh
or abdominal region, will be removed and centrifuged. The processed fat tissue
will then be administered to the area of interest via injection. Since the fat
tissue comes from your own body, your body will not cause any immune responses.
Once the fat tissue is injected, it can provide more than enough resilience,
volume, and younger looking expression to the overall face structure.
