Dermatologist Dr. Minjoo Kim from ID dermatology has explained pros and cons, and some misconceptions of various anti-aging procedures on Korea national TV show, MBC “Good day” broadcasted on 6th of November, 2014
The show introduced anti-aging plastic surgeries such as upper, and lower eyelid surgery as well as dermatological procedures such as Botox and filler injection. Pros and cons of those procedures, information of some latest procedures and several useful skin care tips were also being introduced.
Dermatologist Dr. Minjoo Kim says, “You need to give up the thoughts that wrinkles will be disappeared by 100% with procedure like Botox injection.” “Plastic surgery and certain dermatological treatment can show you improvements, but most important thing is ‘preventing’”
Then she said, “Most important is applying sunscreen all the time not only when you’re going outside, but also when it’s raining or snowing”
She also said, “Recently, there are many laser lifting are available. ‘Ulthera Quattro’ is one of them, which deeply penetrates inside of skin, creating dramatic result which is almost like facelift. If you’re concerned about those plastic surgeries, you may also consider relatively simple dermatological procedures”
